Many people have the misconception that playing video games is not good for you, but to the contrary the researches now are featuring how they’re beneficial.Video games can improve your memory and helps you to focus.People should realize that games can be “powerful tools to improve our attention, our mood, our cognitive strengths, and our relationships”.

Jane McGonigal, a world-renowned designer of alternate reality games wrote in her book, Super Better, that the researchers she talked to about this contradiction given a simple explanation: “Traditional video games are more complex and harder to master, and they require that the player learn a wider and more challenging range of skills and abilities.”

To spread the truth about common misconceptions in playing video games, seven neuro-scientists from around the world signed the document “A Consensus on the Brain Training Industry” from the Scientific Community in 2014 to say that brain teaser games can improve cognitive abilities, as no scientific evidence has been able to confirm such a claim.

So by playing one of these six games for about 20 minutes three times a week you can have fun and even it helps in stimulating your mind.

According to some studies by playing the Grand Theft Auto which takes on the role of a criminal in big city,may help in training you to process information faster and keep track of more information in high stress situation- up to three times compared to the non-gamer’s.
